I'm eating at the new location down the street.
The food is just as great as I remember!
However the ads playing over the radio are annoying and louder than the music itself.
Would highly suggest paying $10/month for Spotify premium, it's worth not annoying your customers. -

Did not live up to the hype. I just moved here less than 2 weeks ago and the buzz around this place has been irresistibly enticing. I couldn't wait to try it. Got the chance tonight, will not be back.
1) Called in a to go order, was told 20 min. Was told upon arrival that it'd be another 15 min. Cool, no worries. Was told again that'd it'd be another 5 because another to go order was ahead of mine. Still, I was gracious and understanding. Unprompted, I was then told not to worry as they knew who I was because of my shirt. That was just weird, because I wasn't wearing a graphic tee or anything, just a plaid pearl snap short sleeved shirt with a couple of bright colors mixed with dark colors. Girl was not trying to compliment me, and made that much clear. Zero chill.
2) The butter chicken burrito was lacking in flavor, despite the potential from being freshly made, still hot, with a perfectly crispy tortilla and what looked to be a flavor bomb of ingredients packed inside. Naw, that thing made Taco John's look like they aren't a midwestern chain that puts cucumbers on tacos, SMH.
3) The tator tots with the works were phenomenal, was not let down by them. One star for the tots.
4) When I called in my order, the girl that took it was very personable and even recommended the tots. The girl that took my payment was also super chill. Clearly both very different than the person I had the unnecessary face-to-face with. One star for those awesome people. -

This wasn't my first time at Tako Cheena. I had been several times to then when they were at their old location down the street. I hadn't been in a while because I hadn't been to the area for quite some time (I live on the other side of town).
The space is small, maybe about 5-6 tables, but it's a quick service place so they don't need anymore. I always have ordered the butter chicken burrito and loved it. It's usually filled with so much flavor. This time not so much, I felt like multiple flavors were missing. Every bite I took I was expecting a curry flavor but that didn't happen, and honestly it tasted very bland. I had half of it there and took the rest to go for a family member who also said the same thing.
The other item I got was the kimchi fries and they were out of the cheese that goes on top so they substituted for spicy mayo. They were okay, but nothing to brag about, the fries ended up very soggy.
I really used to love this place- it was my go to when I was around Mills 50, but after that experience, I'll probably have to find something else around. -

Fun little place. Totally a hippie hang. Young vibe. Lots of long hair (I'm a long hair so I fit in) we heard about this place from a waiter at another restaurant. He said he ONLY ORDERS THE Korean bulgoggi taco. It was by far one of the best tacos I've had! I managed to polish one off right after leaving a 20oz steak dinner. Soooo gooood! We also had the desert chips, don't know what they were called but they were tasty, messy, tasted like a Cinnabon. Only had 2. Too fullllll!

Tried this place stopping by in Orlando as a suggestion. Small, interesting place, since last time I was in. Good service. Clean place. Small parking area. A little up there in price for tacos.
Couldn't try everything, but taco was decent. Assembled well. Ok taste. Just not that memorable. Worth it though if you're in the area.
